The Engineering Department has a vacancy for an Engineering Vehicle Technician at Trent Bridge Garage.
About the Role
As Vehicle Technician, you will maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment and to carry out repairs as necessary on a modern fleet of buses and company vehicles, to ensure they are maintained to a high standard.
About you
You will carry out any reasonable maintenance activities whilst working to good practice and health and safety standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have both electrical and mechanical knowledge in the HGV / PCV repair industry to enhance our current and proposed vehicle shift rota and be able to meet the demands of our varying workloads. Invested in your own development, you will open to ongoing vehicle type training.

Hours of Work: 37hrs a week (with 30 minutes unpaid meal break). Sunday to Saturday, 5 from 7. Varying hours on a rotating shift pattern.
Rates of Pay: Monday – Friday (Earlies – 05:30 to 13:30 and Lates -13:00 to 21:00) £20.71 per hour. You will receive an enhanced rate of £24.62 for Saturday/Sunday and overtime.
