We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and resourceful CCTV Technical Supervisor to join the CCTV Team based at Parliament Street Depot. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Projects, the CCTV Technical Supervisor will ensure the planning, installation, configuration, maintenance and performance of all NCT’s CCTV infrastructure; ensuring they work effectively and that accurate records are kept in relation to department’s activities, and internal and external recipients of CCTV do so in compliance with legal requirements.
About the role
As CCTV Technical Supervisor, you will have supervisory responsibility for a team of CCTV Assistants and Relief CCTV Assistants, whom you will performance manage and motivate to get the best out of. You will ensure that all CCTV is processed in accordance with GDPR requirements.
You will develop and test new CCTV and driver safety telematics systems; keeping up to date with industry standards and advancements, to ensure NCT benefits from new technologies. In addition, you will work with vehicle manufacturers and NCT’s suppliers to develop the specification for CCTV systems on new NCT buses.
You will have systems and processes in place to ensure that all CCTV systems within the Company are always working effectively by undertaking regular maintenance of on, and off bus CCTV systems, responding to reports and troubleshooting technical issues with on bus CCTV systems; undertaking internal repairs where appropriate and reporting to external suppliers, where required.
Working in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Projects, you will support and assist in the development and implementation of appropriate procedures and policies related to the processing and handling of CCTV.

About you
Previous substantial experience in a CCTV role is essential. You will not only be resilient but will have strong interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills. Your communication skills will be second to none as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders including the police, solicitors and insurance companies. You will have strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation of the CCTV function at NCT.
You will be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and CCTV systems like Timespace, LanLink and FACIT systems. You will have an excellent understanding of GDPR and be able to apply the principles and guide others to do the same.
Finally, you will have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and be willing and able to work flexibly when required to meet service needs.

We are looking for a resilient person to join the team at the Travel Centre, on a part time basis.
As a Travel Centre Consultant, no two days will be the same as you will be dealing with customers face to face in the Front of House and also on the phone and online in the Call Centre.
At the front of house, you could be processing variants of Easyrider applications and renewing cards, assisting customers with timetable enquires, journey planning or advising best value fares and tickets.
Whereas in the Call Centre, your duties will include fielding all general telephone customer enquiries to NCT, handling written correspondence, queries and comments from the general public and promoting Nottingham City Transport (NCT) activities; providing a positive interface with the passenger; and ensuring the Company's GDPR policies and procedures are adhered to when handling and storing customer/client information.
Other duties for the role will include:
You will be confident, approachable and a good communicator both in person and over the phone with strong customer service and organisational skills. You will have the ability to work as part of a team, be able to work on a Saturday and flexible to pick up additional hours as required to cover external events. You will be a competent user of IT systems and have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure the Company’s GDPR policies and procedures are adhered to when handling and storing customer/client information.
Location: Travel Centre, currently Old Market Square
Hours: 16hrs per week -Thursday, Friday (11:45 to 17:15) and Saturday 09:15 to 14:15 with the flexibility to work extra hours if required.
